Ep. 16 - UFC 250 & 251 + Pooping Yeast

The latest episode of The Ginger and The Beard Podcast has arrived for your viewing/listening pleasure! On this week's show, we had so much to cover, and we had a ton of fun doing it. We recapped UFC 250, gave our predictions for the three title fights slated for UFC 251, looked at some new VR accessories, and the announcement of the Playstation 5. And, of course, it wouldn't have been an episode of the show if we didn't drink a couple of delicious beers!

After catching up on our weeks, we kicked off the show by cracking open a couple of beers, as we do at the beginning of each show! However, this week was a little special because The Beard was surprised with some branded swag - a Ginger and The Beard beer glass! Check out his reaction in the video above.

This week, The Beard enjoyed a Watermelon Gose from Three Notch'd Brewing, while The Ginger gave the power to the People and drank the winning beer from our Instagram poll - Haze Charmer IPA from Toegs Independent Brewing.

We then jumped into our favorite segment of each show - UFC Shenanigans! Of course, we recapped the main fights of UFC 250, including the impressive, but not quite good enough performance of Felicia Spencer. But we soon after transitioned into talking about UFC 251.

UFC 251's main card is already looking completely stacked! We've got not one, not two, but THREE titles on the line! You'll have to tune in to the episode to see what our predictions are, but honestly, some of these are hard to forecast! What are your thoughts on the fights coming up in July?

When we transitioned into tech news, The Beard showed us a new VR accessory in development from KAT VR - the KAT Walk C. It's a new type of VR treadmill that, once it's released, will go one step further in helping users increase their immersion.

Finally, we talked about the Playstation 5 announcement, the device's specs, and speculated around what it would take to get us two PC games to switch to console gaming. Are you a console gamer? If not, what would get you to jump ship?

Please be sure to check out our show on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Youtube. Give us a follow/subscribe, and leave us a review to help us grow the show!

We'd also love to see you tune in LIVE as we record our next episode, so check us out on Twitch every Friday @ 9 PM EST for our pre-show gameplay, and @ 10 PM EST for the episode recording!
